…. I need to buy refills for my e-cigarette. Do I need to buy a certain brand or do all of the refills basically work the same with all electronic cigarettes?

You should stay with the brand that you purchased your electronic cigarette from. There are many different models of electronic cigarettes. Though they may look similar in pictures, they are different just enough to cause you problems, should you want to switch brands.
